Are you passionate about working with young children and supporting their early development? We are looking for a kind, enthusiastic, and dedicated Level 3 Nursery Nurse to join a caring nursery team in Polegate. About the Role

As a Level 3 Nursery Nurse, you will support the learning and development of young children through play-based activities and daily routines. You will work closely with other staff members to create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment where every child feels valued and confident.

Responsibilities

• Support children’s learning through fun and creative activities that promote development in all areas.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for children and staff.
• Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Work as part of a team to plan and deliver a variety of learning experiences.
• Observe and record children’s progress and share updates with parents and the nursery team.
• Encourage good behaviour, kindness, and cooperation among children.

Requirements

• A Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education (or equivalent) is essential.
• Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or early years setting.
• A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with children.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
• A valid Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
