Job Description

Great opportunity at an award-winning Nursery in Langley for a Level 3 qualified Nursery Nurse. This is a permanent role working 40 hours a week, with nursery opening times from 07:30 to 18:00. The nursery is large, with 10 rooms, offering great career progression into senior roles and continuous support. Whether you are an experienced Nursery Nurse or newly qualified, this role could be a great step for your career.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of a Level 3 Childcare qualification recognized by EYFS.

Nursery Nurse Duties include but are not limited to:

1. Viewing planning sheets and record keeping for all staff in your room
2. Ensuring routines are followed and run smoothly
3. Implementing new decisions in the room at all times
4. Following all policies and procedures
5. Being an excellent role model to other staff

Nursery Nurse Requirements:

1. Minimum Level 3 qualification in childcare education
2. Experience providing play and learning opportunities for children
3. Good interpersonal skills, organized and efficient
4. Ability to support trainees through mentoring and coaching
5. Acting as Key-worker and observing children
6. Knowledge of the Children’s Act
7. Experience working with toddlers or preschool children
8. Good communication skills with children and parents
9. Ability to interact well with children and use own initiative
10. Knowledge of Ofsted requirements and EYFS
