Job summary

Small People in Nottingham is seeking a Level 3 Nursery Nurse to provide high standards of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children aged 0-2 years.

You will support other staff, implement the daily routine, and liaise with parents while maintaining accurate records using the iConnect system. The role requires Level 3 qualification and at least two years of Early Years experience, with a Monday–Friday 7am–7pm shift.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years required.
• Two years of experience in the Early Years sector preferred.

Purpose of Post

To contribute a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for all children aged between 0 and 2 years at Small People.

To give support to other personnel within Small People.

To implement the daily routine.

Key Areas

Providing a safe and stimulating environment that facilitates learning.

Organising and supervising play and work activities (for example reading, cooking, music, dancing etc).

Liaising with parents, carers and professionals such as speech therapists and health visitors.

Maintaining children's records using iConnect system.

Monitoring and recording progress.

Hours of WorkShift pattern Monday to Friday, 7am - 7pm

Essential criteriaLevel 3 qualification

2 years experience of working within Early Years sector.
