Level 3 Nursery Assistant/ROMFORD

Job Summary
We are seeking Level 3 qualified Nursery Assistants to join our dedicated team in providing high-quality care and education to young children. The ideal candidates will possess a passion for early childhood education and demonstrate strong leadership skills. This role involves supporting the development of children in a nurturing environment while ensuring their safety and well-being.

Responsibilities

1. Assist in the planning and implementation of engaging educational activities tailored to the needs of children.
2. Provide a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children in the nursery.
3. Support children's learning and development through play and structured activities.
4. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships.
5. Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and outdoor play.
6. Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their achievements to inform future planning.
7. Work collaboratively with the nursery team to maintain high standards of care and education.

Skills

1. Level 3 qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is essential.
2. Strong leadership abilities to guide and inspire both children and staff.
3. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
4. Experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable.
5. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
6. A genuine passion for childcare and early childhood education is crucial.
7. A valid driving licence may be advantageous for potential off-site activities or training sessions.
