Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd is seeking an experienced Nursery Assistant in the Ilkeston area. The role is full-time and long-term, from ASAP until May, with hours 8:30am–5:30pm, Monday to Friday.

The successful candidate will support children through daily routines and EYFS activities, working closely with the nursery team to promote development and safeguarding. Requirements include Level 3 in Early Years / Childcare, nursery/ EYFS experience, and strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare.
• Experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting.
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS.
• Good safeguarding understanding.
• Caring and enthusiastic approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Support children through daily routines and activities.
• Deliver engaging EYFS activities.
• Collaborate with the nursery team to support learning and development.
• Full-time, long-term position from ASAP until May, Monday to Friday 8:30am–5:30pm.
