Recruit by Nature invites applications for a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner in Ascot, Berkshire. This accredited Montessori nursery and preschool role supports children aged 0 to 5 within an EYFS-Montessori environment.

The position is permanent, full-time (40 hours/week) in the under-2s or over-2s room, offering a nurturing team setting and opportunities for development within the wider nursery group.

Qualifications

• Hold a recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent.
• Have practical nursery experience in an EYFS setting.
• Experience supporting children aged 0 to 5 in an early-years environment.
• Be able to plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities.
• Be calm, reliable, nurturing and able to build warm professional relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, nurturing care for children aged 0 to 5.
• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that support learning through play.
• Support children’s independence, curiosity, confidence and development.
• Apply Montessori principles alongside the EYFS framework.
• Build relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Observe progress and contribute to planning and records.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety and child development best practice.
