Job summary

Qualifications

• Be 16 or over.

• Have lived in the UK for at least 3 years.
• Have the right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Test the properties of construction materials including concrete, aggregates, and asphalt.
• Improve the performance of existing products to eliminate faults.
• Introduce new technologies and automated processes in materials testing.
• Develop understanding and methods used to examine materials, including non-destructive testing (NDT).
• Follow testing methods to ensure safety and quality and maintain lab accreditation.
• Travel to and from sites to collect materials for testing.
