The Role

This apprenticeship is for an Instrumentation Engineer to support maritime-based projects. Responsibilities include installing instrumentation in model boats and submarines, developing instrumentation systems, and supporting associated activities.

Day-to-day Responsibilities

• Provide instrumentation support to facilities and lead related tasks.
• Support technical assurance activities for instrumentation work.
• Maintain electrical and electronic equipment.
• Develop and maintain instrumentation and software strategies.
• Coordinate with delivery teams for timely support.
• Design, build, and test bespoke instrumentation equipment.

Minimum Qualifications

Obtain or be predicted to obtain 5 GCSEs (Grades 5-9), including Maths, Science, and three other subjects.
