Job summary

Academics is seeking a Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant for a long-term role in Berkhamsted. The role focuses on supporting early years learners, helping them gain confidence, independence and foundational skills in a welcoming setting.

You'll work with children one-to-one and in small groups, delivering engaging EYFS activities and supporting the smooth operation of the classroom. A September start and potential for a permanent position are offered.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching & Learning, Education, Childcare or a related area.
• Or holds a Level 2 qualification with appropriate experience.
• Experience working with children in an educational or Early Years environment.

Responsibilities

• Supporting children's learning and development through EYFS activities.
• Helping deliver creative, practical and stimulating learning experiences.
• Supporting children on a one-to-one and small-group basis.
• Encouraging communication, confidence and independence in the education and training environment.
• Supporting children's social and emotional development.
• Helping children develop positive relationships with peers.
• Assisting with personal care and daily routines when required.
• Creating a calm, inclusive and positive classroom environment.

We are working with a welcoming educational setting in Berkhamsted that is looking for a dedicated Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their team.

What You’ll Be Doing

What We’re Looking For

• Level 3 qualified in Supporting Teaching & Learning, Education, Childcare or a related area
• Or holds a relevant Level 2 qualification with appropriate experience
• Experienced working with children in an educational or Early Years environment
• Passionate about Early Years and children’s development

• Confident supporting young children with different needs
