Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant required in Withington, Manchester

A welcoming primary school in the Withington area of Manchester is looking to appoint a dedicated and experienced Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their team.

Location: Withington, Manchester
Start Date: ASAP or September start
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (term-time only)
Pay: (Apply online only) per week

About the Role:
The successful candidate will be working within the Reception class, supporting the class teacher in delivering high-quality provision across the Early Years Foundation Stage. Responsibilities will include leading small group work, supporting learning and development, and helping to create a safe and engaging learning environment for all pupils.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent

  • Previous experience in a school or nursery setting, specifically within EYFS

  • Good understanding of the EYFS framework

  • A patient, caring and enthusiastic approach

  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

  • Confidence in supporting children with a range of needs, including special educational needs
