Job summary

Little Dukes is the early years arm of the Dukes Education Group, operating independent nurseries in London, Richmond upon Thames, Brighton & Hove and Worthing. We seek an Early Years Educator with room lead experience to join our friendly team.

You will provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5, observe development, and work closely with parents and staff to support each child's needs. Level 3 EY qualification and safeguarding compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification (or other full and relevant Montessori qualification)
• Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children
• Paediatric First Aid (preferred)
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and legislation governing childcare (e.g., Safeguarding)

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5
• Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
• Observe and assess children's development, identifying any areas of concern
• Collaborate with parents and other staff members to support children's individual needs
• Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development
• Ensure the nursery is clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times
• Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of all children
