Job summary

Riverside Nurseries in London seeks a Qualified Educator (Level 3) to join our early years team. You will provide high-quality care for children aged 0-5, create a safe learning environment and observe development in collaboration with parents and staff.

Experience in a nursery or childcare setting is preferred, along with teamwork, patience, and a genuine love for working with children. Paediatric First Aid and safeguarding knowledge are desirable assets.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification (or other full and relevant Montessori qualification).
• Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children.
• Paediatric First Aid (preferred).
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and legislation governing childcare (e.g., Safeguarding).

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5.
• Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
• Observe and assess children's development, identifying any areas of concern.
• Collaborate with parents and other staff members to support children's individual needs.
• Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development.
• Ensure the nursery is clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of all children.
