Job summary

Welshampton CE Primary School is offering an Early Years Educator Apprentice (Level 3). You will gain hands-on EYFS experience, support children's learning through purposeful play, and develop your practice with Heart of England Training.

You’ll plan and support EYFS activities, help with language and numeracy development, maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment, observe progress and participate in training sessions. DBS/safeguarding checks apply.

Qualifications

• English and Maths at grade 4 as essential qualifications.
• Support learning through EYFS activities and safeguarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and support engaging EYFS activities with child-initiated and adult-led learning.
• Support language, literacy and numeracy development through play and routines.
• Help create a safe, inclusive learning environment following safeguarding procedures.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Observe children and use assessment information to plan next steps.
• Support social, emotional, physical and cognitive development.
