Little Bears Club Childminders is offering an on-site Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship in Birmingham. The role focuses on caring for children, delivering learning activities, and undertaking key-person duties under experienced supervision.

Qualifications

• GCSE maths and English or equivalent at a level 1 (grade 3) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Caring for children's daily needs and routines.
• Providing and taking part in activities to develop children's learning.
• Observe and record children's learning and development.
• Undertake the role of the key person to help children feel valued.
• Carrying out observations and using these to understand changing needs of key children.
• Planning for interests in line with the early years foundation stage.
• General daily cleaning of the nursery.
• Assisting with mealtimes.
• Engaging in parent workshops.
• Working as a team player and using initiative.
• Being eager to learn from others and ask questions to progress.
