At Altrincham CE Primary, we are rooted in the love of Christ, nurturing each pupil’s unique gifts and potential. Our newly opening nursery for 2-3 year olds is designed to provide a warm, welcoming, and stimulating environment where children can thrive. We are looking for a dedicated Level 3 Children's Practitioner to join our passionate team and help us create a nurturing space for our youngest learners. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join our team in joining us to establish our new provision. Our opening hours will be 07:30am to 6:00pm.
Deliver high-quality care and education to children aged 2-3 years, following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment that promotes children's learning and development.
Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, fostering a sense of community and collaboration.
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that encourage exploration, creativity, and social interaction.
Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records and reporting to the Nursery Manager.
Support children with diverse needs, including those with English as an Additional Language (EAL) and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Ensure compliance with safeguarding and welfare requirements, maintaining a safe and hygienic environment.
Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or early years setting.
Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development principles.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and build positive relationships with children and families.
A passion for nurturing and developing young children's potential.
