Job description

As the administration apprentice, you will be a pivotal member of the team, providing support across various functions.

Day-to-day duties will include:

  1. Welcoming patients in a friendly and professional manner – as the first point of contact at reception.
  2. Managing the practice diary and administering appointment details.
  3. Taking payments and ensuring the correct balancing of patient accounts.
  4. Answering email inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  5. Using Microsoft packages such as Excel and Word (or equivalent).
  6. Accurate and efficient data input, including financial forecasting and patient planning.
  7. Producing accurate records and documents, including emails, invoicing, and KPIs.
  8. Prioritising tasks and completing them within designated timeframes.
  9. Supporting team members to complete tasks across all departments.
  10. Communicating with dental laboratories and other suppliers to ensure smooth practice operations.
  11. Managing priorities and tasks effectively.
  12. Assisting with the recruitment and selection of both permanent and temporary staff.
  13. Facilitating social events at all sites, including inter-site events.
  14. Overseeing charity sponsorships and organization efforts.
  15. Assisting with marketing Treeline of Dental Care within the wider dental industry and managing social media, liaising with third-party providers as needed.
  16. Working at other practice locations as required to provide cover, particularly at reception.
