Location: Greenwich - Short walk from Greenwich Station

Start Date: September 2025

Contract: Full-time / Term-time

Salary: 95 - 115 per day (depending on experience)

A welcoming and inclusive Greenwich primary school is seeking a dedicated Level 3 BSL Teaching Assistant to join their team from September. This role involves supporting a KS1 pupil with hearing impairment and Cerebral Palsy, providing both academic and personal support. The successful candidate will have previous SEN experience and a commitment to ensuring every child can thrive in an inclusive environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 support for a KS1 student with hearing impairment and Cerebral Palsy.
  • Use British Sign Language (BSL) to facilitate communication and learning.
  • Adapt classroom activities and resources to meet individual needs.
  • Assist with mobility, accessibility, and personal care when required.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, SEN staff, and external specialists.
  • Monitor progress and contribute to EHCP reviews and support plans.
Qualifications
  • Level 3 BSL qualification - essential.
  • Previous experience working with pupils with SEN, ideally in a primary school.
