Blackburn College invites applications for a Level 3 Assessor - Plumbing. Based at our Blackburn campus, you will manage a caseload of apprentices, plan and undertake workplace assessments, and deliver high‑quality training to support timely completion of the Apprenticeship Standard.
You will lead standardisation and coordinate the Internal Verification process, requiring extensive industry experience and a background in assessing learners aged 16+.
£32,715 to £33,699, plus Market Premium of £3000 pro-rata, per annum which will be reviewed annually. The market premium will be payable to successful candidates, depending on qualifications and experience.
Working as part of the Apprenticeship Plumbing team you willbe responsible fora case load of learners. You will liaise with learners to plan and undertake assessments in the workplace, deliverhigh qualitytraining and support andmonitorthem through all aspectsof their apprenticeship journey to ensuretimelycompletion of the Apprenticeship Standard. You will alsobe responsible forleading on standardisation and co-ordinating the Internal Verification process.
A suitably qualified individualwith extensive relevant industryexperienceyou will haveexperience of assessing / working with learners age 16+to support ourthemto achieve their goals.
