Education Impact Academy Trust seeks compassionate Level 2 Teaching Assistants to support students with diverse needs. Hours of Work: Full time and Part Time positions available, term time only.
Contract type: Permanent
Salary including allowances: Grade 2 - £24,027 - £25,992 FTE and SEN Allowance of £1,668.70 FTE. Salary and SEN allowance are pro rata hours worked
Start date of role: As soon as possible and September 2025 starts

Education Impact Academy Trust is a MAT incorporating Wilson Stuart School, Queensbury School and Mayfield School. Wilson Stuart School is an Ofsted designated outstanding all age (2 – 25 years) Special School which provides very high-quality education for 264 pupils and young people who have physical disabilities, and/or complex medical conditions. Queensbury School provides for 245 students who have MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties), ASC (Autistic Spectrum Condition), SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties) and SEMH (Social Emotional and Mental Health). Mayfield School educates children and young people, who have a range of learning difficulties, between the ages of 3 and 19 and have approximately 300 students on roll.

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistants to join our team. The successful candidates will support the educational and personal development of our students, working closely with teachers and other professionals to deliver tailored learning experiences. The post includes classroom support, mentoring, pastoral care and assisting with the physical care of pupils as and when required. Due to the complex physical needs of our students, you will be required to assist with the moving and handling of the students and on occasion assist with their personal care needs. You should have excellent communication and written skills with high expectations of learning and behaviour and a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification.
