Job description

Level 2 Teaching Assistant

Permanent

Starting from 1st September 2025

32.50 hours per week, term time plus PD days

An opportunity has arisen for a Level 2 Teaching Assistant at Southall School.

The role involves working across the entire school and with individual students. Experience working with children with SEN and complex needs is desirable.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience working with children with special needs
  • Or be working towards a Level 2 qualification
  • An understanding of Child Protection policies
  • Patience and empathy towards pupils
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills

The position is 32.5 hours per week at a salary starting from £12.60 per hour.
