Exciting Opportunity for a Teaching Assistant in Milton Keynes!
Job Title: Teaching Assistant (ASD & Social Communication Needs)
Location: Milton Keynes (MK8)
Rate: £90 - £110 per day (dependent on experience)

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Teaching Assistant to join a supportive specialist school in Milton Keynes. The school caters to learners aged 4 to 19 years with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or Social Communication difficulties. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people in a structured and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with ASD and Social Communication needs
* Assist in creating an inclusive and structured learning environment
* Support students with their daily routines, communication, and social interactions
* Swimming participation is essential, as students take part in swimming as part of the curriculum
Key Requirements:
* Experience working with children or young people with ASD or Social Communication difficulties
* A calm, proactive approach with strong communication skills
* A positive "can-do" attitude and ability to adapt to students' needs
* A willingness to support students in the pool during swimming sessions
* Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification
