St Margarets at Hasbury CE Primary School in Dudley is seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a supportive, high-aspiration team. The role involves whole-class support, 1-1 and small-group withdrawal, and assisting in KS2 learning with a focus on pupil progress and well-being.

You will work closely with teaching staff to deliver engaging activities, monitor learning and behaviour, and build positive relationships with children, parents, and carers. This is a permanent, full-time position.

Qualificações

Responsabilidades

• Support a class with pupils of varying abilities and provide targeted withdrawal small group sessions.
• Deliver 1-1 support to pupils as needed to aid learning and progression.
• Assist in KS2 lessons under the guidance of the class teacher.
• Contribute to creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to monitor pupil progress and behaviour.
• Maintain clear communication with parents and carers where appropriate.

Contract type: Full time.

Salary scale: Grade 3.

Contract term: Permanent.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about all children having the opportunity to reach their potential and and 'Life Life in all Its Fullness'. Someone who will have the highest expectations of pupils academically, behaviourally and socially and they will inspire and engage pupils through their tasks. Whilst work will be guided by the teacher or colleague, the candidate should demonstrate the ability to use their own initiative.

Visits to the school are encouraged.

We are looking for a TA who:

• has at least a level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
• will work with children of all abilities in a whole class setting as well as withdrawing individuals and small groups for focused support.
• will work as 1-1 support
• is experienced with working in Keystage 2
• has the ability to effectively support the learning and emotional needs of children;
• has a positive approach and a desire to understand and to support children’s needs;
• has high level literacy and numeracy skills (equivalent to GCSE grade C or above);
• is flexible and adaptable;
• works well under direction, but also shows initiative and can take ownership of tasks
• enjoys working as part of a team;
• support the classroom teacher with their responsibility for the development and education process.
• work in respectful partnership with parents/carers when supporting children in their learning and development
• be approachable and resilient
