Job summary

The Brier School in Dudley is seeking an outstanding Teaching Assistant (Level 2) to join our all-through special school for pupils with complex learning needs. The role involves supporting teaching staff, assisting with learning activities, and helping to create a safe, engaging classroom environment.

The successful candidate will be a team player with a genuine commitment to safeguarding, able to work with children with SEN, and keen to contribute to high standards of education at The Brier

The Brier School, including the Unicorn Satellite Centre is a successful all-through special school serving pupils with complex learning needs. Our designation is for ‘moderate learning difficulties’, however in recent years, the complexity of pupils joining The Brier School has increased significantly.

In our schools within Ascent Multi Academy Trust, we aim to provide a happy, caring and stimulating environment where children feel safe and valued, and are actively encouraged and supported to achieve the very best they can.

Location: The Brier School Position: Teaching Assistant (Level 2)

Contract: 35 hrs per week, 39 weeks

Salary: Grade 3, SCP 4-5 Start Date: As soon as possible

The Brier School are looking to appoint an outstanding Teaching Assistant who is caring, highly motivated and passionate about making a difference and helping to improve the learning opportunities for our children.
