University of Leicester Running and Athletics Club is seeking a part-time Sprint Coach in Leicester. The role offers £20 per hour and requires a Level 2 coaching qualification to lead sprint sessions and help athletes improve on the track.

Scheduled coaching takes place Monday evenings from 6:30pm to 7:30pm; candidate should be comfortable working with blocks and hurdles and ensuring safe use of track equipment.

Qualifications

• Level 2 coaching qualification required.

Responsibilities

• Lead sprint coaching sessions and monitor athlete form.
• Supervise Monday evening coaching sessions 6:30pm–7:30pm.
• Assist with track equipment use (blocks, hurdles) and safety considerations.

Description

Sprint Coach with a level 2 coaching qualification needed! The University of Leicester has a growing number of sprinters however we are lacking a coach to help us improve and allow us to use the track equipment such as blocks and hurdles which are not permitted without a coach. We have scheduled coached sessions on a Monday evening 6:30pm-7:30pm. £20 per hour.
