Level 2 SEND Teaching Assistant, London Borough of Hillingdon

Protocol Education is recruiting a Level 2 SEND Teaching Assistant to work with children with Autism at a reputable school in Hillingdon, starting September 2024.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting students with special needs, particularly Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • Working effectively as part of a team
  • Taking initiative to find interventions quickly

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with special needs or relevant personal or academic background (e.g., Psychology, Health and Social Care, Speech and Language)
  • A Level 2 (or higher) Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Passion for working with SEN, patience, and understanding
  • Right to work in the UK and experience working within the UK educational system
  • Availability to start as soon as possible
