Job Title: Level 2 Qualified Teaching Assistant

Location: Barnsley
Salary: £425 - £550 per week (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Provide in-class support for pupils, helping to deliver engaging and accessible lessons.
• Offer 1:1 and small group interventions for students who need additional help.
• Assist with classroom preparation, learning resources, and daily routines.
• Support children with SEN, behavioural needs, or EHCPs under teacher guidance.
• Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.

Requirements:

• Experience working in a school or educational setting.
• A caring, patient, and proactive attitude.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
• Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
