Prospero Teaching is looking for passionate, proactive and enthusiastic EYFS practitioners to support the learning of children in one of our inspirational Nurseries in Newcastle on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to build positive relationships with children and have a long-term, positive impact on their lives, progress and development.

About the Role:
- The role will involve supporting children aged 0-3 on both a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
- The role will involve supporting children throughout the day with personal care, mealtimes etc.
- Plan and deliver high-quality, play-based learning experiences aligned to the EYFS framework
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where every child is known and valued
- To work as part of a team to ensure the creation and maintenance of a high quality, happy, stimulating and safe environment for children.
- A key part of the role will be to develop an understanding of the different needs and learning styles of different children within the Nursery, working closely alongside colleagues to establish this.
- The role will also involve supporting across the Nursery at breaktimes and lunchtimes as required.

About the Nursery:
- The role is based in an inspirational Nursery in Newcastle
- There are opportunities to support the children across the Nursery across 0-3
- The Nursery has an outstanding supportive culture and Leadership Team, where staff work as a Team within classrooms to provide high standards of support to pupils.

Pay, Hours and Contract:
- Pay - £13.84 per hour
- Hours - 40 hours per week
- Contract - Full-time until the end of the Academic Year in July 2026. Temporary Contract.
- Start Date - ASAP
- Location - Newcastle (NE12)

Experience/Qualifications and Requirements:
- A recognised EYFS Qualification - Level 2 or Level 3 considered, or a Supporting Teaching and Learning or Childcare-based Qualification
- Experience of working with Children in EYFS in the UK
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS
- An ability to build positive relationships and a rapport with children and staff.
- A resilient, proactive, and positive nature
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional references that cover the last two years
