Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd in Gillingham is seeking a Level 2 Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join a busy nursery team on a full-time, long-term basis. You will support babies and young children with feeding, personal care and play-based learning, ensuring their daily routines are safe, nurturing and engaging.

Candidates should hold a Level 2 qualification in Childcare or Early Years, have experience in a nursery setting and be confident with EYFS principles, teamwork and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to work with babies and young children in a nursery setting.
• Strong understanding of routines, safety and development.
• Excellent communication and teamwork with colleagues and families.

Responsibilities

• Support feeding, nappy changes and personal care.
• Assist in engaging children in age-appropriate play and learning activities.
• Help implement the EYFS framework in daily activities.
• Promote children's social, emotional and physical development.
• Maintain a safe, clean and nurturing nursery environment.
