Job summary

Protocol Education is recruiting a Level 2 Nursery Practitioner for a private nursery in Dunmow. This long-term, permanent role is four days per week with a competitive salary dependent on experience, and a supportive team environment.

You will plan and deliver EYFS activities, monitor children's progress, build strong relationships with families, and ensure safeguarding. Requirements include Level 2 EYFS qualification, nursery experience, good EYFS knowledge, and an Enhanced DBS.

Are you a passionate and caring Level 2 Nursery Practitioner looking for a long-term role?

A friendly and well-established private nursery is seeking a dedicated Level 2 Nursery Practitioner to join their caring team on a 4-day-per-week basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is committed to supporting children's learning and development in a nurturing and stimulating environment.

The Role

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will:

• Support the learning, development, and wellbeing of children aged 0-5 years.
• Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Ensure a safe, secure, and welcoming environment.
• Monitor and record children's progress and achievements.
• Promote safeguarding and follow nursery policies and procedures at all times.

Requirements

• Level 2 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
• Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting.
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting young children's development.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
