We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative on behalf of our client, a specialist manufacturer within the medical device sector. This is an excellent opportunity to join a clean, organised, and quality-driven environment where high standards and teamwork are essential.

About the Role:
As a Production Operative, you will be responsible for manufacturing and packing medical devices to a high-quality standard, in line with strict industry regulations and customer specifications. You’ll also support the Production Supervisor in achieving safety, quality, cost, and delivery targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Promote and maintain a strong focus on safety within the team

Manufacture products in line with ISO13485 and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)

Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and meets Good Document Practice (GDP)

Work to standard times and support the team in achieving production targets

Minimise waste and escalate issues where necessary

Participate in daily shift meetings and continuous improvement initiatives

Operate in a cleanroom environment to strict hygiene and quality standards

Maintain strong communication with departments such as Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Stores

What We’re Looking For:

GCSEs or equivalent (including English and Maths)

A solid understanding of Health & Safety and GMP standards

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

A proactive, team-oriented attitude

Flexibility to support changing business needs

Willingness to cross-train on various processes
