Nursery Practitioner – Bishop’s Stortford

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 6:00pm (shifts may vary)
Contract: Full-time

What we’re looking for

You must hold one of the following:

• Level 2 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner
• Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner (Early Years Educator)
• Level 3 Technical Certificate in Early Years Education

Previous experience in an early years setting is desirable but not essential.

A positive, caring and enthusiastic attitude.

Someone who is eager to be part of an incredible team and progress within their career.

Your role & responsibilities as a Nursery Practitioner

• Delivering high-quality care and education to children, ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times.
• Supporting children’s learning and development through creative play, planned activities, and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Building strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Assisting with daily routines such as mealtimes, naptimes, and personal care.
• Observing, recording, and assessing children’s progress, contributing to their individual learning plans.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and stimulating environment both indoors and outdoors.
• Working effectively as part of a team to support the nursery’s ethos and goals.
