Overview

Level 2 Qualified Learning Support Assistant with SEN experience

To work across school and within SEN resource hub

Required: As soon as possible

Grade 5 £13.26 an hour dependant on experience

Fulltime 8.40-3.30 6.33 hrs a day 31.65 hrs a week

Term time only

Fixed term for 1 year in the first instance

To meet the special educational needs of pupils across the school and within our new SEN resource hub. We are looking for dedicated and committed practitioners to support learning and development.

We are looking for someone who:

  • is an exemplary practitioner who can inspire and motivate our SEN children
  • has experience of working with pupils with SEN
  • is dynamic, flexible and creative and has a clear understanding of effective practice
  • has proven ability to improve outcomes for children with special educational needs
  • is able to support the social and emotional needs of children with SEN
  • has excellent interpersonal skills – ability to communicate well with colleagues, external professionals and parents
  • is keen to participate in the wider life of the school
  • has a clear understanding of safeguarding within an educational setting
