Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 2 Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a vibrant and supportive school community. This is a rewarding opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about helping children reach their full potential. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as a Level 2 HLTA:

Support teaching and learning across the school, covering classes where required.

Plan and deliver lessons or interventions under the guidance of teaching staff.

Provide targeted support for individuals or small groups, including those with SEND or additional needs.

Contribute to the planning, assessment, and delivery of the curriculum.

Support the wider school team in maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment.

HLTA status or equivalent Level 2 qualification.

Proven experience supporting teaching and learning in a primary or secondary setting.

Strong behaviour management and communication skills as a Level 2 HLTA.

Ability to lead sessions with confidence and initiative.

A flexible and proactive approach to supporting pupils of varying abilities.
