We have a skilled team of highly committed and professional teachers and leaders who work hard. However, there is always much to do and we are always reflecting, improving and developing our school. As part of our ongoing journey, we are now looking to recruit a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, initially working with and planning for a small group of children to meet the severe and complex needs of specific pupils through individual, small group activities, to motivate and support our younger children, in an outstanding EYFS setting.

Hours: 32.5 per week term time only

Salary: £20,740.64 - £21,542.52

Grade: 3 SCP 3 - 4

We are looking for a Level 2 EYFS SEND Teaching Assistant who has what it takes to truly make a difference to children. This post is to support children with SEND within the EYFS - in our EYIH and EYFS/KS1 SEND Provision, but flexibility may be required in the future. There will be a requirement to support a small group of children with a range of complex needs.

If possible, we would like you to visit Wren’s Nest; please contact the school for the visiting time on offer. If you would like further information, please contact Michelle Wilkes - 01384 818515.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children; therefore, the post is subject to medical clearance and an enhanced DBS check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. All applicants must be able to provide documentation to prove their right to work in the UK.

Please note: Dudley MBC does not currently offer sponsorship for candidates without the Right to Work in the UK.

Effective from September 2022, KCSIE states as part of the shortlisting process schools and colleges should consider carrying out online searches, as part of the due diligence on shortlisted candidates.
