Job description

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: Grade D. SCP 7 £25,584 - SCP 10 £26,835

Hours Per Week: 41.30 Hours (Summer) 28 Hours (Winter)

Base Location: Hyde Depot

Assessment Date: To be arranged

The Role

Operations and Greenspace are responsible for the delivery of a number of important front-line functions relating to street cleansing, grounds maintenance, arboriculture, countryside and playground services. We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and well organised individual to form part of a small reactive team within the grounds maintenance function

About You

The successful candidate will carry out a range of duties including maintenance of shrubberies, bowling greens, graffiti removal, chemical spraying and other associated duties. Such work will involve regular use of powered mechanical equipment, such as mowers, strimmers, hedge cutters etc.
