Job description

Level 2 Engineering Apprenticeship - Terabithia

This Level 2 Engineering Apprenticeship is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work problem-solving and learning new skills. Youll gain real industry experience while earning and working towards a recognised qualification.

Apprenticeship Overview:

  • Salary:15704 per year
  • Working Week: Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5pm (30 minutes break)
  • Duration: 18months
  • Hours: 37 hours per week

Duties:

  • Assist in the assembly of R&D installations ranging from small test rigs to medium-scale systems
  • Support in daily operations across all aspects of R&D including builds testing and setup
  • Help the team in the design-build processincluding layout setup parts handling test runs data collection and characterisation of different systems
  • Apply basic engineering and scientific principlesincluding measurements calculations and graphical techniques.
    Help maintain workshop safety cleanliness and equipment readiness following company procedures.
  • Set a strong example in timekeeping teamwork and attention to detail.
  • Support the fabrication and assembly of prototypes using tools and techniques such as: FDM 3D printing SLS printing CNC machining and Desktop PCB etching and cutting tools
