Job description

A private nursery in Sheffield is looking for an experienced, qualified Level 2 Early Years Practitioner to start as soon as possible.

Job Role and Responsibilities
  1. Encourage young children to enjoy learning about their environment through fun games and activities.
  2. Promote the development of social awareness through interactions with other children.
  3. Prepare engaging lessons using visual prompts, audio, and colour.
  4. Teach children basic learning tools, such as recognising the alphabet or naming everyday objects.
  5. Ensure children are collected daily by their designated parents, relatives, or carers.
  6. Maintain classrooms and outdoor play areas to be child-friendly and safe.
  7. Stay updated with early years learning developments, including new activities and teaching styles.
  8. Notify parents of positive progress and suggest ways to address early developmental challenges.

All pay rates include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with potential for permanency later.
