Job Description:

A private nursery in Sheffield is looking for an experienced, qualified Level 2 Early Years Practitioner to start as soon as possible.

Job role and responsibilities:

1. Encourage young children to enjoy learning about their environment through fun games and activities.
2. Promote social awareness through interactions with other children.
3. Prepare engaging lessons using visual prompts, audio, and color.
4. Teach children basic learning tools, such as recognizing the alphabet or naming objects.
5. Ensure children are collected daily by their parents, relatives, or carers.
6. Maintain child-friendly and safe classrooms and outdoor play areas.
7. Stay updated with early years learning developments and incorporate new activities or teaching styles.
8. Notify parents of progress and suggest ways to address early development challenges.
