Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd in Gateshead is seeking a dedicated Level 2 BSL Support Assistant or HLTA to join a specialist SEND setting. You will support pupils in classroom sessions and through targeted interventions, helping them access education with confidence.

The role is full-time and requires Level 2 BSL or relevant experience, plus experience with children and Teaching Assistant or HLTA background. A patient, adaptable communicator with a full UK driving licence is preferred.

Qualifications

• Level 2 British Sign Language qualification or relevant experience.
• Previous experience working with children.
• Teaching Assistant or HLTA experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A patient, understanding, and adaptable approach.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
