Job description

NHTA is a private training provider specialising in government-funded apprenticeships in hairdressing and barbering qualifications, designed to develop your skills and knowledge for your hairdressing or barbering career.

Typical Responsibilities:

• Washing clients' hair.
• Keeping the barbershop clean and tidy.
• Making drinks for clients.

Qualifications and Training:

• Level 2 Barbering Professional Apprenticeship Standard, including Functional Skills if required.
• Training and assessment will take place at your salon with one of our tutors.
• You will gather learning evidence, journals, and off-the-job records using your e-portfolio.
• At the end of the planned learning period, you will be assessed to determine if you are ready to enter the 'Gateway' and proceed to your End Point Assessment.

Working Hours:

Monday - Saturday, exact shifts to be confirmed.
