Job summary

CROWNHILL MOT CENTRE LTD in Crownhill, Devon is offering an Autocare Technician Level 2 apprenticeship. You will learn servicing, diagnostics and repair tasks while gaining hands-on experience in a friendly family business.

Job description

Introduction

An Autocare Technician requires a unique combination of technical, retail and customer service skills. They will use a range of tools, measuring and diagnostic equipment to identify and repair simple system faults.

What You'll Do

• Completing general vehicle servicing
• Maintenance tasks, including, in time, more complex tasks such as head gaskets
• Cambelt renewal
• MOT repairs
• This role will involve the successful candidate attending Skills Group one day per week for the duration of the apprenticeship

Training Outcome

• On completion of the level 2 apprenticeship, the suitable candidate would then be considered for progression onto the level 3 advanced apprenticeship
• There will also be an opportunity in the future to complete specialist courses, such as hybrid and electrical vehicle training
