To be considered for this role, you must hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Pay: £25,833 - £26,624 per annum, based on experience (40 hours per week).

About Our Nursery

Our small, and perfectly formed nursery in Margate offers our local community an Ofsted-rated Outstanding nursery in a meticulously crafted environment that fosters children's connections with the world around them, themselves, and their peers. We are a close-knit team with children, staff, and parents all knowing one another. Inside our nursery, you will find three thoughtfully designed rooms, each equipped with age-appropriate resources tailored to meet the developmental needs of every child. Townsend Montessori Nursery Margate is situated just a short walk from Margate town centre and train station, on Cowper Road. Parking is available nearby.

What Your Role Involves

As a Valued Member Of Our Team, You'll:

• Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive.
• Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
• Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Monitor and celebrate children's development milestones, keeping records to share with parents.
• Support the day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
• Be a team player, offering guidance to apprentices and volunteers while learning from others.
