Responsibilities:
- Creating a Safe and Stimulating Environment: Ensure the nursery is a clean, tidy, and child-friendly learning environment.
- Supporting Learning and Development: Plan and implement engaging activities that promote the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development of each child.
- Observing and Assessing: Monitor and record children’s progress, ensuring that all children have equal access to learning and development opportunities.
- Building Relationships: Develop strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive atmosphere.
- Health and Safety: Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of all children in your care.
- Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
CONTRACT DETAILS:
- Position: Qualified Level 2/3 Nursery Practitioner
- Contract or position start date: ASAP
- Minimum rate of pay: Minimum rate per hour
- Hours: Vary (working hours between 08:00 – 18:00)
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS:
To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child-related references
- Hold a Level 2/3 qualification or equivalent
