Job Description

Machine Operators are required to join a leading worldwide manufacturing plant with an expanding team during this exceptionally busy period. Located on the Cross Green Industrial Estate, LEEDS LS9.

This is a Level 1 Machine Operator Technician grade 1 role working rotating days, Monday to Friday, 06:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00. Due to the location and shift times, please ensure you can commute to the site.

Ideal candidates:
  • MUST have a current FLT Counter Balance Licence
  • MUST have experience working in Machine Operations
  • MUST have COSHH experience
  • Initiative to work independently and a positive work attitude
  • Must have the ability to work in a team
  • Must be able to concentrate for long periods
  • Should be up to date with Health & Safety policies
Duties include:
  • Monitoring machines that mix specific chemicals and liquids according to formula
  • Weighing chemicals/raw materials on a scale into a mixing tank
  • Observing readings on the mixing tank and adjusting temperature and flow controls

If you have good practical skills and can work quickly and accurately, this is the job for you. You will need to work well in a team and have the ability to concentrate for extended periods. A checkable work history and your own safety shoes are required.
