Actual Annual Salary: £21,087 - £22,985 (Based on 36.25 hour per week, Term Time Only + Inset days)

Full Time Equivalent Salary: £25,136 - £27,398 (CLF Grade B) Based on 37 hours per week, all year round.

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: Part Time, 36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday (7:45am – 3:30pm)

This is an opportunity for a caring, energetic, and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team, providing high-quality support within the classroom to help young people reach their full potential.

We are seeking a motivated and adaptable individual with strong interpersonal skills, who will assist in the educational, personal and social development of designated students under the direction and guidance of relevant colleagues.

You’ll be responsible for assisting with planning, preparation and delivery of lesson provision, both on a whole-class and individual basis, preparing resources to support learning activities as well as ensuring pupils are supported pastorally. You’ll contribute to evaluating student progress and provide feedback to the class teacher to ensure all students’ learning needs are being met.

You will be:

  • able to demonstrate ability to work at a minimum of NVQ Level 2 in supporting teaching and learning or equivalent.
  • a great communicator effectively both orally and in writing, demonstrating an ability to understand and convey complex information.
  • able to demonstrate a keen interest in working with children and commitment to inclusion and acceptance of all.
