Job summary

A leading environmental company in the UK is looking for an experienced LEV Engineer to carry out testing, installation, and maintenance of Local Exhaust Ventilation systems. The ideal candidate will have the P601 certification and experience with fume cupboards and clean room validations. This role also includes producing technical reports and providing consultancy services to clients. A competitive salary is offered depending on experience, alongside other benefits.

Qualifications

  • Hold the minimum of the P601 certificate.
  • Extensive experience carrying out testing, installation and maintenance of LEV systems.
  • Experience with class 1, class 2, and class 3 fume cupboards.

Responsibilities

  • Undertaking LEV testing, validations, and maintenance on various sites.
  • Testing emissions, reviewing, and approving assessments.
  • Producing and collating technical reports.

Our client is a highly respected environmental company, with an excellent reputation for delivering a range of services to a diverse client base. They are currently recruiting for an experienced and knowledgeable LEV Engineer based in and around the Sheffield area. The ideal candidate will hold the P601 LEV certificate and will have extensive experience carrying out testing, installation and maintenance of Local Exhaust Ventilation systems. Applications from Rotherham, Barnsley, Huddersfield, Chesterfield the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Hold the minimum of the P601 certificate.
  • Experience carrying out testing, installation and maintenance of L.E.V systems.
  • Experience in working on class 1, class 2 and class 3 fume cupboards.
  • Experience carrying out clean room validations would be beneficial.
  • Proven track record of producing technical service reports.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.
Job Duties
  • Undertaking local exhaust ventilation (LEV) testing, validations and maintenance on a varied site base.
  • Testing Emissions, reviewing and approving assessments.
  • Collating and producing technical reports.
  • Providing a consultancy service to clients, advising on technical reports and further services.
  • Undertaking fume cupboard examinations.
  • Carrying out clean room validations.
  • Visiting sites designated by the client and dealing with issues effectively.
  • Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with the Health & Safety procedures and legislation.
  • Presentations to staff, company and contractors regarding occupational hygiene.
  • Building and maintaining a good rapport with clients.
