Lettings Progressor / Accounts Assistant

Site based role Monday - Friday

Proper Recruitment have an exciting opportunity available for an established Estate Agent client of ours based in Woodford, Essex who are looking for a Lettings Progressor / Accounts Assistant. This is a dual role which requires a candidate who is capable of managing tenancy progression whilst also being competent with managing accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Pre-tenancy documentation
  • Tennant Referencing
  • Drawing up Tenancy Agreements
  • Arranging Safety Certs (GSI, PAT, ESI etc)
  • Assist with the preparation of landlord financial statements and reports
  • Process supplier/landlord invoices and payments
  • Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable/receivable
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
  • Provide support to the finance team as needed

Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices
  • Team player with excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, organisational and administrative skills
  • Knowledge of Solicitor Accounts rules beneficial
  • Must be experienced at multi-tasking, managing time sensitive documents and taking responsibility for delegated tasks
  • Must thrive in a busy, team-oriented environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
