Job description

A Property Developer has a requirement for a Lettings Negotiator to join their Lettings team based in Manchester.

The company specializes in regenerating popular areas, providing a range of accommodation from houses and apartments for individuals, couples, and families, building gated communities that include a site-based Caretaker, parking, and landscaped gardens for tenants to enjoy.

Lettings Negotiator role

Working with a team of Lettings Negotiators, you will be responsible for overseeing the lettings on your allocated development. Your responsibilities will include following up enquiries across their portfolio (new developments and existing developments where properties are reaching the end of their lease period) to minimize the time properties are vacant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Following up enquiries by telephone, email, and occasionally in person.
  • Reserving as many applications 'off plan' as possible to minimize empty periods.
  • Supporting Letting Administrators to ensure customers meet the required criteria before referencing.
  • Delivering outstanding service.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Accurately recording customer information in the software system.
  • Ensuring registered applicants receive marketing information regularly.
  • Advising on available units for reservation and securing reservations 'off plan' where possible.
  • Following up on enquiries to maximize potential.
  • Ensuring applicants meet referencing criteria before reservation.
  • Reserving properties before they become vacant where possible.
  • Contributing ideas to improve the lettings process and team KPIs.
  • Performing other duties as required by the business.
