Are you a Lettings Negotiator looking for a new challenge? Our client, an award-winning, 2-office independent Estate Agent in West London, is looking for a Lettings Negotiator to work in their busy office in Ealing. The Agency was founded over 10 years ago and is highly regarded for the excellent level of customer service and advice they offer all of their clients, as well as their extensive local market knowledge. They pride themselves on the services they offer and are actively looking to open a 3rd office in the future.

The ideal candidate should be passionate about the property industry with at least 2 years of experience but would consider slightly less experience if you possess the right attributes. You must be very well spoken and presented, hard-working, and used to working to targets and deadlines. Ideally, you must have valuing experience, but can be trained on this if not.

You must hold a full UK driving licence and own your own car.

Salary package and benefits of the Lettings Negotiator role include:
  • Quarterly bonus of £500 on reasonable performance expectation
  • Welcoming working environment
  • Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm, every other Saturday 9am to 1pm with a day back in lieu (5-day working week)

Responsibilities of the Lettings Negotiator position include:
  • Dealing with Landlord and Tenant enquiries, answering phone calls and emails
  • Preparation of lettings particulars, in conjunction with the Valuer, checking of background details and emailing relevant applicants when required
  • Arranging/conducting property viewings
  • Negotiating lets through to move-in
  • Preparation of Tenancy Agreements and other legal notices
  • Providing Applicants and Landlords with regular feedback
  • Providing high levels of customer service
  • Research and compile valuations as required for new, current and potential clients
  • Carrying out Market Appraisals and winning new business
  • Generating T&C’s
The skills required for this Lettings Negotiator role will include:
  • Ideally at least 2 years previous experience with valuing
  • Calm person with strength of character, someone who won’t be easily flustered
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Personable, proactive, and helpful
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to multi-task with good attention to detail
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Full UK driving licence with access to your own car
