Role Purpose

Due to the continued growth of our Residential business and with new sites starting this year, we are recruiting for a Lettings Negotiator. This person will specialize in Lettings and new-build lettings. The primary role of the Lettings Negotiator is to ensure that our New Development sites are rented effectively and professionally.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Ensuring professional and effective relationships with clients, maintaining high levels of service at all times.
  2. Following up on all Lettings leads promptly and recording all information on the internal system.
  3. Conveying accurate information to prospective tenants and external agents in accordance with current legislation.
  4. Developing product knowledge and site layout understanding, liaising with the client/site manager to stay informed about the development.
  5. Achieving and exceeding weekly and monthly targets.
  6. Maintaining a professional, customer-focused approach at all times.
  7. Assisting with housekeeping tasks such as greeting clients, inspecting show apartments for maintenance issues, and providing general support as needed.
Person Specification/Requirements
  • Strong experience in residential lettings, preferably on-site in a BTR development.
  • Proven track record of achieving targets.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry legislation.
  • Good IT skills (Word, Excel, MS Outlook).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build professional relationships at all levels.
  • Efficient prioritization and coordination of tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Positive attitude towards routine tasks.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proactive with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Confident and assertive when needed.
